Michael Jackson's dermatologist Arnold Klein rescued from fire - The dermatologist who treated Michael Jackson was rescued from his home during an early-morning fire today.

Dr Arnold Klein, who was a long-term friend of the late singer, was taken to hospital by ambulance after the fire took hold at his house in Windsor Square, Los Angeles.

Firefighters were called to the 11,000-square-foot Victorian house at about 6.45am where they found the blaze had spread from the kitchen to the upper floors.

In total, four adults were treated in the fire for non-life-threatening injuries, a spokesman for Los Angeles city fire service said, while 50 firefighters tackled the blaze.

Dr Klein, 65, worked for Michael Jackson since 1986, attempting to cover the excessive plastic surgery procedures the singer underwent.

Last year, Michael Jackson died after being given 'a fatal combination of sedatives', according to the Los Angles County Coroner.

Another doctor, Conrad Murray, is facing criminal charges relating to his death.

Last year Dr Klein appeared on CNN's Larry King chat show in which he alleged that Michael Jackson was addicted to drugs.

He also admitted to giving the star a strong sedative and claimed he went to rehab in England.

He said: 'Michael at one time had an addiction. He went to England and he withdrew that addiction in a secure setting.'
